I got Faith! So I get life more abundantly!….Soooo…. How come the world still has more and nicer stuff than me?? I “give” …so I am suppose to have more… Right??

The Christian life , the “life more abundant” is not ease and comfort! Not a life of physical prosperity now, as some would teach in great and harmful error to the detriment of the body of Christ; Or else the New Testament Christians would not have lived as they did-or died as they did! They would not have continued to be arrested and thrown to lions, would not have been tied to horses and ripped in four directions…would not have been dipped in oil and lit as torch’s for Caesar Nero’s garden. Or as Paul who wrote most of New Testament would not have stated he lived this way to the wealthy Corinthians, or I think he would have been ashamed to admit it here in his writing of chapter 4 of 1Corinthians …

1Cor4:11Nasb-“To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, we are poorly clothed and beaten and homeless,”

If great faith is equivalent to seeing more and better things in your life, to be seen as God’s prosperity at work in this world through you.. Then we would have to say that almost all of the Christian’s of the new testament, and including Paul… Did not understand biblical faith! And that is not the case,  just remember  God spoke through them…”they” are part of the Truth in OUR bible;

And that is why, Paul also wrote…for “us” to see… 1Cor10:11Nasb- “And do not complain as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 These things happened to them to serve as an example, and they were written down to instruct us, on whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 So if you think you are standing, watch out that you do not fall.”…
DO NOT follow error… If it does not agree with ALL of God’s word and His intentions form old to new… it does not agree and is not truth.

And God’s word DOES work exactly the same when spoken back then, as it does now, and EXACTLY the same in the poorest nation as it does here in the richest…. Today!

And just like it worked for Paul (God’s word)…it work’s same for us today! Because God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34) When Paul was in prison… God sent Paul (through the Philippians) money to be kept for his release (only a right of a Roman citizen to have a saving box in prison!)…Which gave him great hope! God had met His current and or a future need by their contribution! (Philip4:14)

God will always met our needs…not our greeds,… but only in the way for where “you” were designed to fit in the body for His purpose, and how He ‘planned” to display His glory in your life… is ONLY determined by Him…Not ever by you naming and claiming it…. God does not have adjustable plans…. He made a plan for you to walk in before time. (Eph2:10) …Remember seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you. … So Think about it…

Because the world is starting to look at us now as back then, as something to ignore or destroy…not to believe and accept as the Truth that brings eternal life… And that is true abundance, only found in being satisfied with Jesus Christ, nothing else added by us to make it…more “comfortable” here.

The New Testament Christian lived giving away what they had …as the poor you always have with you. (Mat26:11)…But they decreased that He might increase. (John3:30)…They knew where their abundance was, and willingly died for it.
No grand houses, no fancy cars, no designer clothes, but no greater love has any man than to lay down His life for another.

Owning nice things is not wrong…but ask where is your heart if your seeking nicer things? (Luke12:34… where your heart is there is your treasure also.)…

Know why you seek them…and be honest; Because the man who could not follow Jesus and went away sad…was the rich one, who could not sell what He had, and give it all away when Jesus asked for it!…
Mark10:21-23-Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money, to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” 22 When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions.
23 Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”….

Think about it Jesus taught Prosperity as “True riches” that have nothing to do with the world… Luke16:11Amp-” Therefore if you have not been faithful in the [case of] unrighteous mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions), who will entrust to you the true riches?” … Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness… and all else will be added (Mat6:33)….

That is always enough for your needs, to fulfil His plan, for you to display His glory… to the world as He planned for you. Like the Christians who died in bible, and like Paul in prison, or just Paul doing what God asked him to do. … Just like us, living the Christian life has nothing to do with things we posses, or don’t posses in and from this world…. Our abundance ALL comes from heaven in Christ Jesus.(Philip 4:19)… HEY! That was written by Paul while in the worst filthy prison you could ever have to stay in.

Paul was given his one monthly right as a Roman citizen to WRITE… a letter we call “book of Philippians”, also known as the book of Joy, as 19 times Paul mentions Joy in Philppians. God had a plan for Paul to walk in made before time,(Eph2:10) so God had Paul born in Rome for His glory to be revealed. … Just like you!

Think on it we have eternity in heaven with God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord! Wow that is an abundant gift to me… So learn how you are to display His glory here as “you” run your race, and help others run theirs… like the Christians IN the New Testament did.

And clearly follow the narrow road & stay in the light…of God’s Word.
